Lowell was introduced to acting by the film Dangerously Close followed by a small role in the Robin Williams movie Club Paradise. Then she moved on to other roles, including co-starring with Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) and, starting in 1996 she was the assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the tv drama Law & Order, a character she reprised in 2005 to play a guest character in its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and also on the original series in 2022, when it was relaunched for a 21st-season. Six years ago, she was unhappy with her acting career and sought out New York University to study documentary filmmaking. [4] In the middle of 2000 she stopped acting. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice , while also reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. Lowell returned to television in 2018, appearing on Blue Bloods as a guest. [7][8] Personal life Lowell has been married three times more. John Stember was her first husband. She was married to him from 1984 until 1988. [9][10] She was married from 1989 until 1995 with actor Griffin Dunne and they have a daughter, Hannah. After 11 years of marriage, the couple separated in September 2013. The couple was involved in a litigious divorce case in the New York Supreme Court for three years.
