Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Her birthplace was in Passaic (New Jersey) on 19th June 1978. Both her parents were both born in Puerto Rico. She was raised by her mother in Queens. The family she was born into relocated to the Dominican Republic at the age of 10, where they'd stay for the rest of seven years. Zoe's love for dancing was ignited when they were in the Dominican Republic. Zoe started her dance learning at ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy. In addition to offering a way to express creatively the young and enthusiastic student the dance lessons she received proved to be an important precursor in her beginning acting profession. At age 17, Zoe and her family relocated to America. United States where her love for dancing continued and her desire to perform in the theater grew greater. Zoe not only held her own but also earned recognition from famous actors like Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer, Keira, Knightley, Ashton Kutcher and Orlando Bloom. Many of Zoe's co-stars and producers feel that the sky is not her only limit. Zoe has a broad variety of skills, intense focus and a unwavering desire to take on projects with various characters and subject matter. Her performance was honored as an BIFA award in 2022 for "Best Performance in a Featured Film". Deutch will be next seen reuniting Katie Silberman to create their second romance, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch worked with Silberman for Set It Up, Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
