Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles that shaped her life at an early age through her imaginative and creative imagination. Her songs were written before she was able to write and read. When she got her first guitar at the age 8, she started to play at radio stations in Knoxville in Tennessee. The same year she released her debut recording for Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. While still in highschool, she made her name locally but dreamed about a larger stage. When she was graduating in 1964 she moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. In the year 1967, Porter Wagoner was looking for the next girl to perform on his syndicated television show. Parton was a part of the Grand Ole Opry 1969 after contracting with RCA Records. However she left Wagoner's show in 1974 as her solo releases such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were charting collaborations with them. Parton wrote I Will Always love You in honor of Wagoner in the aftermath of their breakup. It reached number one. The first time that a song reached No.
