Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is an extremely popular American after winning American Idol's inaugural season. This win catapulted Clarkson into fame and earned her a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since then, she's released many studio albums, three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly did not make it to the top. She's one of the top artists who come out of The American Idol series. To achieve her success she experimented with different genres of music and experimented with subjects. The singer received critical acclaim as well as numerous prestigious awards for her individuality and singing prowess. The Grammy Award is her most prestigious recognition. Apart from her professional career in the field of music, she has also appeared on television and film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a children's story written by her. In addition, she was involved in charitable work and different organizations.
