Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor as well as a director producer and singer. Liu is a gorgeous, talented actress who has helped numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. She gained fame after several popular role in a shows. The most notable was her role in the Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. The fame gained by her was translated into roles for the big screen for Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. The actress also gave an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. The same year, she was also in leading roles in several movies that were not a success at the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing famous characters from animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen characters was not able to achieve successes. Southland's critically acclaimed series on police, Southland and a recurring part in the show helped Liu establish her as an actress.
